What does it cost to become a member Practitioner?
Annual membership with TheHolisticOption.com costs $100, and can be paid by check, money order or credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express accepted). We charge this fee in order to maintain the state-of-the-art technology that powers TheHolisticOption.com, as well as to increase exposure of the site and holistic healthcare throughout print, broadcast and online media outlets.
If you refer two other practitioners who become members (regardless of modality), YOUR first year of membership is FREE! The cost will appear as $100.00 on the payment section of the
application, however, your charge of $100.00 will be credited back upon approval of your two referred practitioners. In order to ensure proper credit, your referrals must select 'Other' in response to the 'How did you hear about us?' question in Step 1, and specify the exact EMAIL ADDRESS that YOU used to sign up.
And for those practitioners who maintain an active membership with any of the Professional Associations recognizing TheHolisticOption.com, we offer a 50% discount on your first year of membership! The association logo(s) will automatically appear on your profile once it is approved and made live within our directory. If I am a member of one of the Professional Associations that recognize TheHolisticOption.com, do I receive a discount?
YES! For those practitioners who have active membership with any of the non-profit Professional Associations that recognize TheHolisticOption.com, we offer the 50% discount on the first year of membership regardless of the date you sign up! To view the list of Professional Associations,

How do I edit the personal information in My Account?
Simply go to your Practitioner Control Panel under the My Account link at the top middle of the site (seen only if you are logged in), and click the first menu list item, 'Edit Personal Information'.
Can I be listed under more than one modality on the site? And how do I add them?
Yes. You can apply for a separate listing in as many modalities as are applicable to your training, but a separate application and payment must be submitted for each modality. To submit another modality application for site approval, go to your Practitioner Control Panel under the My Account link at the
top center of the site (seen only if you are logged in), and click the third menu list item, 'Submit New Modality'.
How do I edit by credit card or other billing information?
To edit billing information, go to your Practitioner Control Panel under the My Account link at the
top center of the site (seen only if you are logged in), and click the second menu list item, 'Edit Existing Modality'. At the bottom of the page, you will see the credit card(s) we currently have on file for your account. To edit any one of them, click the 'Edit' link below it and click 'Save'.
How do I retrieve my password if I've forgotten it?
To retrieve your password, click the 'Forgot your password?' link on the Login page. Your password will instantly be sent to the email address that you used to register with.
