Who: PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and Experience Project (the largest website for anonymously sharing life experiences)
What: PETA and Experience Project have teamed up to to make your New Year’s resolution a reality. The “Pledge to Eat Veg” 30 Day Challenge makes it simple and fun for every-day people to try vegetarianism for 30 days. The goal of the challenge is to help people to start living healthier while making a positive change in their lives in 2009. As an added incentive, PETA will make a donation to the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation in the name of each individual who participates. Those who join the challenge will be helping the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation to reach its goal to plant 18 billion fruit trees worldwide - that's three trees for every person on the planet.
When: Starts week of January 6, 2009 | On-Going Interactive Forum Until March 31, 2009
Where & How: Joining the challenge is simple. Just visit www.ExperienceProject.com . There, participants will learn how to get started and can share and compare their experiences while providing each other with support along the way.
